For those of you with an AOL email account you may notice that you do not receive House, Senate, or even a Voice In Numbers confirmation email when you initially sign up.  While Voice In Numbers understands that email filters are convenient, we wish we could do more to increase our reputation so that you will receive House and Senate email alerts from us, but ultimately the solution relies on the users of the email service.

Newt Gingrich may not have many differences when it comes to comparing him to the Democratic party, but he sure knows what resonates with the American people.  I have to say I liked everything he said in this video from the CNN debate.  Just thought I would share...

I had been thinking about what it means to be an American, which then got me to thinking about a conversation I over heard while waiting for a table at our local Applebees. I just love it when non-techies talk technical jargon, all the while having no idea what they are saying.

Nancy Pelosi is at it again declaring war against the Republican party in her "2012 Retirement Security Survey".  I made a copy for you to read.  The only thing I agree with is that we need to "... turn back the clock on every Democratic achievement of the last 50 years".  I know it's hard for Democrats like Pelosi to comprehend the facts, but even if she was able to take 100% of "Big Oil and billionaires" money it still wouldn't be enough to fund the current Social Security System.

If you're like me and try to run a tight household budget then you know how hard it is to take a mid-month glance at the dining-out allocation and realize you wont be going to McDonalds anymore this month, let alone figuring out how to explain that to you child.  Now things could be worse, and I thank God everyday for the many blessings our family has, but my point here is that running a budget is not easy.
